Questions for NCAC
Book

Preamble
Hya, as you may or may not know we are getting a book
together on NCAC. The book will be an historical snapshot of NCAC and I hope
that people will be proud to be in it.
The book will be self published and available in soft or
hardback. It will go to Councillors, Important Art People, Philanthropists,
Family and Friends etc. We need a new building to put our studios in and every
little bit will help as far as telling people who we are and why we are good
for Newcastle.
I hope that all tenants of the centre to do their best to
respond. The response is in the form of:
a) a few questions
b) a short bio - less than 200
words. Please talk yourself up, don't be modest.
c) between 4 and 12 images of
your work that can be used in the book (see addendum for image sizes).
d) an optional artist's
statement (around 100 words) if you feel the questions aren't enough to explain
your philosophy etc
We are fortunate to have the renown photographer Joerg
Lehmann volunteer to take photographs of all the NCAC artists (hopefully in
their studios). This will keep a stylistic thread running through the book.
Timeing
Date: if I could have your answers and images by 12th April
2016, that would be wonderous.
I am waxfin@gmail.com
If that is too soon for you please let me know.
Thanks very much for being involved in this. I am sure it
will be worth the effort.
regards
Andrew Finnie
